Atlanta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hannibal Industries and Automha announced the successful installation of a semi-automated deep lane storage solution for KTN in Houston, Texas. This solution improves the productivity and efficiency of end users with 95% space utilization and proves the long-term alliance between Hannibal Industries and Automha.

Steve Rogers, Executive Vice President of Hannibal Industries, said: "Automha’s extensive experience in warehouse automation can be traced back to more than 20 years. Hannibal Industries is cooperating to develop material handling solutions (such as KTN’s solutions). Solution) has seen the practical application of its expertise. "With the continuous development of Hannibal Industries, we are pleased to expand our strategic alliance with Automha to meet the material handling needs of end users. "

"The Automha and Hannibal alliance provides our respective customers with the opportunity to benefit from the world-class leader in shelf manufacturing and'trolley-based' warehouse automation," said Steve Dale, sales manager at Automha Americas Automation Corp.

KTN is an international business leader operating port terminals, logistics and on-site terminals. The group also provides various value-added services to its customers to improve their overall supply chain. KTN has several customers who need the value-added services and high-density storage provided by KTN.

The solution includes Hannibal Industries' TubeRack, structural racking and Automha's semi-automatic pallet runner product line. The final storage solution is a deep lane Pallet Runner system with 14 pallets deep and four store floors high. Each pallet is stacked in two layers, and we can store 28 pallets in 1-14 deep lanes. The load weighs 3,200 pounds, and each channel can store 44,800 pounds, which proves the product quality and engineering of the two companies.

The automated Pallet Runner system maximizes the cube footprint and provides more than 95% space utilization. The Automha solution enabled KTN to achieve the goal of 28 pallets per truck. The Pallet Runner system is designed to allow lanes to be fully or fully loaded, thereby increasing operator efficiency and maximizing storage density and utilization.
